Prosthetic Fitting

Elegance Underneath is an accredited facility for Medicare. We file directly for insurance reimbursement. Requirements for a fitting are;

1. An appointment is recommended with Dawn so that you receive undivided attention at the time of fitting.
2. A prescription from a doctor seen on a regular basis. A surgeon prescription is not required.
3. Medicare allows for up to six bras yearly, an asymmetrical prosthetic every other year, and bilateral prostheses yearly.
4. Photo ID and Medicare card.
5. Payment is required from the customer at the time of purchase, and Medicare reimburses you directly.
6. If there is a secondary insurance, Medicare will forward the reimbursement on to you.
7. Allow 4-6 weeks for the Medicare check to come in the mail.
